Speaker Bio: Kyle McCloud is the owner and head chef of Back Paddle Brewing in Lincolnton, GA. Originally from SW Michigan, Kyle joined the Navy in June 2002, serving as a photojournalist and intelligence analyst for 11 years and achieving the rank of E6. Following his time in the service, Kyle attended Ivy Tech Community College in South Bend, IN, pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Culinary Arts. As part of his education, he was selected for and completed one year of a professional apprenticeship at the University of Notre Dame.  In 2015, Kyle was called to serve his country again, this time as a contractor for the US Army, where he has served in some capacity since. He opened Back Paddle Brewing in October 2020 with the help of his wife, mother-in-law and teenage sons.
