Cummings, owner and clinical director of Stairway Counseling Services, will be sharing Imposter Syndrome: The Barrier to Leadership.

Speaker Bio: 

Dr. Cheryl E. Cummings is a licensed professional counselor, educator, mentor, and faith leader with more than two decades of experience in mental and behavioral health. She is the owner and clinical director of Stairway Counseling Services, LLC and the founder of Future Generation Consulting & Training, LLC, organizations that provide mental-health education, and professional training for individuals, organizations, and communities.

Dr. Cummings earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of South Carolina Aiken, a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, and a PhD in Human Services with a specialization in Counseling Studies from Capella University. She is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina and Georgia and holds numerous national certifications in clinical mental health counseling, trauma treatment, and clinical supervision.

In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in counseling, psychology, and human services, and she has been active in professional leadership roles within the mental health field.

Dr. Cummings is also the Founder and Senior Pastor of Journey Oasis, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit faith-based organization dedicated to spiritual growth, community outreach, and holistic wellness by integrating faith, mental health awareness, and supportive services for individuals and families.

Registration for PMI Augusta‑Aiken Chapter dinner meetings is required in advance so that meals may be ordered and paid for based on attendance.

No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or no shows.
Registrants who arrive after meal service has concluded or who do not attend the meeting will not be eligible for a refund, as catering costs have already been incurred. If the chapter must cancel an event, registration fees will be fully refunded. By registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
